Data Deletion & Account Removal

You can remove your data from Symmetry IQ at any time. This page explains how to delete your scans, your account, and the data held by our service providers.
Delete scans from the app
Your face scans, images, and scores live on your device. To remove them, delete individual scans in the app, or uninstall the app to remove all on-device data.
Delete your account
To permanently delete your account:
- Open Symmetry IQ and go to Settings.
- Select “Account”, then “Delete account”.
- Confirm. Your account and associated personal data are permanently erased.
Request deletion by email
Prefer email? Send a request from your account address to privacy@symmetryiq.app with the subject “Data Deletion”. We'll verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, including account data held by our providers (such as Clerk).
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings to stop future billing.
What we may retain
We may retain a limited set of records where legally required (for example, transaction records for tax purposes). These are kept securely and only for as long as the law requires.
